Sanitary Authority and Food Vending – Registering or Approving the Business

1 min read

A food machine is a food business. The rules require it to be notified to the competent authority.

Selling food from machines falls under food safety law. Under the Polish Food and Nutrition Safety Act, the business applies for entry in the register of establishments or for approval of the establishment to the competent district sanitary inspector at least 14 days before starting the business. The procedure depends on the type of activity.
